When the Tsunami hit Sri Lanka in December 2004 many children lost parents, grandparents and family members. The teachers at the local schools in Tsunami affected areas, many of whom had also lost loved ones were not trained to support their students. Pam was asked y the Vice Principal of a local school to visit children in their homes and without the language or help of a translator she was able to help the children express their pain using pastels and paint.
Contributions to the work of Hope In Sri Lanka are always welcome.
